I am David Sandoval, a Barcelona-based woodworker specialising in bespoke wooden furniture and tableware.
My practice focuses on the natural qualities of wood, which guide both my creative vision and the way I approach the material.
I make each piece individually in my workshop, from the selection of solid wood to the final coat, and produce them as unique pieces or in small-scale series, valuing quality over quantity.
My perspective is influenced by the principles of contemporary design and traditional Japanese techniques, with particular attention to detail and functionality.
I currently live and work at my family farmhouse in a small village in the region of La Segarra, Catalonia, where I share life with my partner and horses.
