I am David Sandoval, a Barcelona-based carpenter specialized in bespoke wooden furniture and tableware.
My practice focuses on the natural qualities of wood, which guide me both in my creative vision and in the way I work with the material.
I make each piece in my workshop through the selection of solid wood and produce them as unique pieces or in small-scale series. Valuing quality over quantity.
My perspective is influenced by the principles of contemporary design and in traditional Japanese techniques, paying attention to detail and giving importance to functionality.
I currently live and work at my family farmhouse located in a small village in the region of La Segarra, Catalonia, where I share life with my partner and five horses.
